The port of Brussels

Companies making use of waterways may set up in the port of Brussels. The port of Brussels offers access to waterways, and has an optimal location; and not just in the heart of Brussels, but in the heart of the European market. In addition, Brussels’ port is connected to an extensive transport network and can be reached by sea, by waterways, by railway, or by road.

The port of Brussels offers its customers concessions allowing them to develop their economic activities. The duration of these concessions depends on investments made. The main criteria for the allocation of concessions along the quays relates to the use by the company of waterways and the number of jobs created.
The costs of these concessions are set out in a price list.

In addition to its land, the port of Brussels also has storage areas within its international road transport centre and offices.
