Because it is often a good idea to carry out a feasibility study before setting up your company, rather than discovering that the project is not viable after it is too late, the region provides pre-activity support.
The premise: 50% of the consultancy fees for a consultant are reimbursed by the region, allowing you, for example, to carry out a market study or get help with preparing your business plan at a lower cost, all while you are still a self-employed individual residing in Brussels and looking to set up a company.
The consultant must have at least 2 years of experience, and be able to prove this with references. Specificity relating to consultancy aids: the applicant must attach the opinion of an approved institution to the file (impulse.brussels, Beci, UCM, Unizo).
The detailed page on pre-activity support including beneficiaries, conditions and the process concerned is available in the French or Dutch version of this website. You may also visit the site of Brussels Economy and Employment
